Tinubu Flies to India for G-20 Summit

Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had on Monday, September 4, flown out of Nigeria to India, to attend the G-20 Summit after being invited by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

President Bola Tinubu will give a keynote speech at the Nigeria-India Presidential Roundtable & Business Conference on the summit’s sidelines. This speech will potentially border on meetings with chief business leaders & captains of industry from Nigeria and India in order to forge partnerships and foreign investments in Nigeria by highlighting and emphasising on the country’s vibrant investment opportunities through the eyes of his administrations’s “Renewed Hope Agenda”.

Tinubu is also expected to engage in Bilateral Engagements, including having private meetings with various world leaders to bolster economic and trade ties. President Tinubu will also speak his thoughts on the G-20 summit with the subject matter, “One Earth-One Family-One Future”. The G-20 summit includes countries that make up at least 80 per cent of the global GDP index and inhabits 60 per cent of the world’s population, making it a powerhouse of economic occasion and security.
